My love for cumbia came rather late, I found it through my flatmate who's into Nicola Cruz big time. And then it just hooked me more and more.

Chancha Via Circuito & El Búho from Argentina are certainly one of the must-know representatives of this mystical electronic genre. And today we're blessed with the delicate tribal piece "El Mago Georges", taken from their first collaborative EP Pleamar (Spanish for "high tide") that shows us "the history of migrant sounds, the salvaged sound of floral jungles, high mountain forests and the ocean deep".
