The movements of the drums here are sure to have you bouncing from beginning till end, especially when the percussion arrives!
Initially, that's what grabbed my attention although as "Lady" progresses... We become more engrossed by Baxter's vocal performance by virtue of her range towards the chorus and impressive song writing. Jazz and Neo-Soul seem to be the primary influences on "Lady". The arrangement of the smooth keys give this away and those that are enchanted by Jorja Smith are sure to find this satisfying.
