It seems as if the lovely vocals of Carmody are always accompanying the groovy vibes of a Tom or Laura Misch produced track (check out what I’m talking about here).

So, upon discovering this new solo release from the London-based signer, we weren’t really sure what to expect. Right when you press play, the song comes across as another syrupy acoustic track. But, at about 30 seconds in, it transforms into a chilled out house beat (produced by Carassius Gold) that perfectly complements the singer's sweet and elegant lyrics.

Carmody is gearing up to release her self-titled EP later this month and we’re definitely looking forward to more tracks like “Skin.”
