If you’ve been sleeping on Carmody, its time to wake up. With stellar collaborations under her belt with Tom Misch, Alfa Mist and more recently Laura Misch the London-based singer recently unveiled her solo EP.
Apart from the gorgeous soundscape provided by Tom Misch and her heavenly vocals, it’s the maturity in songwriting which also impresses with Carmody explaining the tracks meaning as about “trying to keep the fire alive in a relationship, trying not to get lazy or complacent with the familiar.”
With “For Desire”, Carmody has us in complete awe.
