Excited to have Berlin-based producer and composer Calcou back in our feed.
When I thought of how to describe Stefan's new single "Wanderlust", the first word that came to my mind was grande. I guess it has to do with how spacious it sounds and the fact that every time wanderlust kicks in, you experience this feeling of exploring the vast outdoor spaces.
Calcou is a composer with a classical background, and he takes pride in his roots as a jazz pianist and I definitely feel he's incorporating elements of improvisation in his work. I would describe his music as a fusion of jazz and chill, with elements of deep house blending into electronica, all wrapped in the perfect progressive layer.
Listening to "Wanderlust" is an instant trip to far-away places.
