This weekend's vibe is definitely summery and that's thanks to some groovy music from the motherland.
The C-MO and Trombobby combo is definitely a force. Following their joint 2019 release The Year Without a Summer, the 2 Bulgarian multi-instrumentalists are back with a new record titled Vsichko E Nared (translated everything's fine). As I write those lines I realized how relevant that title might be in 2020, but that's a whole other topic.
Back to the new stuff - the 8 track album was premiered via a YouTube live session on Easter and I have to say - that was hands down one of the most professional livestreams I've seen since the quarantine started. The 5-piece live band, accompanied by a few other notorious Bulgarian artists absolutely smashed the performance and made the best out of the situation.
My feel-good tune today is "44 Leta" - a funky blend of soul and r&b sounds which are the perfect stage for C-MO's witty lyrics.
