It's that time again to drop some bass bombs on the Stereofox music feed. As winter knocks on our door, it's an opportune time to combat the ensuing cold with that heat. Although our Songs To Chill To series presents itself impeccably for the winter, I need the occasional injection of rage to ensure the party goes strong year-round. Enter Canadian underground producer Bryx to assist with just that.
Off of his newest EP This Is It out now on Bombstrikes, Bryx drops the hammer on the dancefloor with cut-throat hardcore hip hop track "Up In The Place". Supported by a naughty bassline and clever sampling, "Up In The Place" hits all the tick marks to get the bass face in the prettiest form of ugly.
Out of the Canadian West, Bryx is part of a rich scene of love for bass music in British Columbia. Keep your eyes on the producer as he makes a comeback following a hiatus sure to hit regional and international events.
