I wanted to take you further back in time, but coming across Broke For Free just glued me to 2012. To be fair, I just found about it yesterday, so it wouldn't be much of a #throwbackthursday for me... rather than just sharing a very frest and positive chillwave track. If "The Gold Lining" doesn't evoke the warmest of all emotions in your mind, then you really had a rough day. It surely turned out mine around.The odd beat which kicks in around 1:30 is pure gold. Just saying.

California-based Tom Cascino has been producing such sunny tunes for a few good years and I'm really eager to explore in-depth his work. The track is part of his Gold Can Stay EP. So far I've been spinning "The Gold Lining" on repeat. So much positive positive euphory... the only way to fight the weather in Berlin.
