Time and time again, Brianna Castro shows the world she's a force to be reckoned with. "Unsent" was released last Friday and it's been hard to get off that goosebumps-evoking vibe. A constant repeat show over the weekend.
The song is a straight-up honest confession to a loved one we still care about and while the time of a relationship might be running out, it's never too late to fight for. As Brianna clearly states, she's not trying to let go, but speak her (side of the) truth. Also, that "even broken clocks are right twice a day line" hits hard. Honestly, the lyricism on "Unsent" is impeccable and I'm simply mind-blown by Brianna's art.
"This record was so many years in the making, but the journey in making it whole to be what you hear today is always the reward. Brianna, my friend! Thank you for taking your time with this record. You are one of the best writers in music. And you proved that with this one. I hope the world sees it and respects you for it.", shares B-roc The Prophecy who helped create this beautiful slow burner alongside Grammy-nominated Benjamin F. Thomas.
Brianna also released a lyric visualizer featuring talented artist and choreographer Kingsley Ibeneche, who we've had the pleasure of covering before.
