"Let Go" by Sweden-native Boukas and the UK-based A D M B encapsulates all that I adore about the eclectic genre of nu jazz, and through this single, they've put their spin on the genre.
This is the first taste we're getting of their collaborative live project Dreams In Colour - an EP written and produced by the two producers which is coming on 16th June via Endless Sunday Records (sub-label of Chillhop Records).
The pair have crafted a listening experience that's not only elegant but is bound to acquaint you with a sense of peace. The drums have this slow groove where outstanding fills burst through the mix, and the keys possess a dream-like quality to them. "Let Go" is definitely a gem you'd want to immerse yourself into if you're looking to relax.
"Initially conceived during the first pandemic lockdown, the project began with A D M B & Boukas sending stems back and forth online. The idea was born to record the entire project as a live album, and once travel restrictions were lifted, the pair got together in Gothenburg to record the EP", they shared.
