I can easily imagine this as the backtrack which sets the mood right for two lovers watching the sun slowly fall into the horizon.
The songwriting combined with the sensual vocal delivery seamlessly prompts imagery of romance and intimacy throughout the progression of the track. "You Dear" also has this pleasantly dreamy aesthetic thanks to the glittery arrangement of the Rhodes, while the backdrop is adorned with vocal harmonies dressed in a subtle touch of reverb. This is actually the first single from indie/soul band Boscobel which is made up of husband and wife.
"You Dear" is a story of two people from opposite sides of the world, completely different and yet somehow the same. It's about making it work when that's not the easiest thing to choose.
