On "Something", Bobby Thibs not only lures the attention of the listener with his witty lyricism but with his heartfelt performance too.

Lines such "the Devil or the Lord, one of these motherf**** testing me" is intensified thanks to Bobby's hoarse delivery... To the point where it sounds like the pain he's going through makes it tougher for him to even open up. When it came to the instrumental, it was actually quite reminiscent of early Flying Lotus by virtue of the textures that adorn the beat. This is definitely the kind of listening experience that'd bring out an introspective side of you.
