Last year Colin shared with us the debut single of Aussie singer Benji Lewis called "Reach You Where You Are" and it didn't take long before I heart-ed the tune in my Stereofox playlist.
Today, we're exploring the first track from his forthcoming EP Home For Now scheduled for this May. "Drift" is anything you can expect from a tune with that title. Just a few seconds in the tune, you'll find yourself spacing out and mellowing about those warm summer days (at least if you live in a place where winter is currently prevailing...).
This beauty turns out to be also produced by another favourite producer of mine - Golden Vessel who we interviewed last year. On the track, Benji shares:
I wrote this song on a warm Monday night while I was in Brisbane, working on new material with Max (aka Golden Vessel). We had been writing all day and this one came at around 9pm. Once we had laid down some ideas, we both knew we had created something pretty special.
