You've once again come to my most cherished intersection - between soul, r&b, jazz & hip-hop.

Our friends, the Dutch label Vokall Records, delivered the warm & jazzy "Work It Out", courtesy of Benjamin Fro's smooth flow and Gita Buhari's honey vocals. The song is about "the melancholy of an inevitable break-up that's about to happen," and while there's a certain moodiness, you can also find hope & a light at the end of the tunnel. You'll fall in love with the impeccable drum groove, mesmerizing storytelling, bright horns, and cozy keys, all intertwining magically.

Benjamin Fro, hailing from Amsterdam, is a versatile artist encompassing the roles of a singer, rapper, and poet, as well as an activist - in 2021, he co-hosted the Climate March in Amsterdam, drawing an unprecedented crowd of over 40,000. Fellow Dutch singer Gita Buhari has been making waves since 2018, having supported live Andreya Triana & Oshun and being featured on the likes of Vogue & ELLE.
