We've been following Ben Khan pretty much from the early days of the website. To this day, I am still obsessed with pretty much everything the UK artist has ever released.
There has definitely been a movement on his side. Ben just launched his own web portal called The Foundation, plus has been working on some new stuff, some of which we get to experience now. Earlier today, The London-based just dropped 2 new tracks - "ruby" and "a.t.w. (against the wall)" which I am still stuck on (hence the first feature). The track is super groovy and while it carries his watermark sound, somehow feels like a change. There's this intensity throughout the track, but definitely not in a burdening way. It all feels perfectly pieced together.
So, yeah - it's a good day for music.
