Throughout Banyan's catalog, we've heard the duo flirt with the idea of melodic house. Although on their latest release "Serotonin" with Ruffnux they head a lot more in this direction than usual.
As the name would suggest, the listening experience provided on "Serotonin" feels joyous and relaxing - if the feeling of "well-being" had a soundtrack it would definitely be this. The track is layered with a range of shimmering leads and lush guitar arrangements, and this is paired with drone-like textures floating in the background.
