Over the past few months, Banyan has demonstrated their ability to dive into a range of different styles, doing so superbly and with their own unique touch.
"Obsidian" is the latest release from the Florida duo and this time, they've taken us on an Afro house journey characterized by a florid array of melodies. The element that certainly stands out is the piercing lead synth that is eventually cloaked by the comfort of warm, emotive piano chords throughout the track. Towards the second half, the rhythm section bursts to life thanks to the addition of explosive percussion hits that add to the groove. Banyan is honestly keeping us on our toes and I'm thrilled to see what they'll do next!
