The stellar melodic arrangement found in the intro of Banyan's latest single rouses feelings of wonder, and this seamlessly makes "Ineffable" feel like the backtrack to a comforting daydream.
Even though it's subtle, the side chaining contributes so much to the groove of the track particularly when the drums fully erupt into the mix towards the end. At the same time a luminous lead hovers over the airy pads and the beefy drums and it's at this moment when the track fully comes to life. In many ways this actually reminds me of In Return, the second studio album from ODESZA and if you enjoyed that I'm sure "Ineffable" will eventually end up in your rotation.
