We've covered numerous releases from the Florida-based duo Banyan, although their latest release "Holly" is quite a special gem in their catalog.

Michael, one of the members had a family member who fell incredibly ill. During this time, he sought comfort in music more than ever and "Holly" was one of the creations that surfaced from this period. The melodies are both catchy and emotive, and they're complemented by a piercing synth horn throughout the climax to capture a feeling of triumph. Even though this leans towards melodic house, "Holly" is still adorned with that signature dreamy sound of Banyan.
