The title for Banyan's latest release "Aura" is so fitting particularly since it's the track's charming, atmospheric allure that's bound to pull the listener in.
Considering that ODESZA is among the key influences of Banyan, in many ways "Aura" reminds us of the iconic Summer's Gone LP albeit with a little more polish. The presence of shimmering pads brings the track to life and these soundscapes are elegantly complimented by sparse guitars in the distance. I love that this strolls a thin line between calming and grooving, making it quite a multi-colored listening experience.
