While heat is slowly killing us here in Berlin, there's nothing that some dope beats and r&b couldn't make better. That and a jar of orange-flavored iced water of course.
Kicking off my music Monday with BAELY's groovy new tune titled "Paranoid". Centered around punchy synths and a funky bassline, the electro-soul feel of the track brings to mind the work of Prince and Justin Timberlake mixed with some GoldLink beat vibes.
This is our first feature of the London-based artist, but definitely not the last one we'll keep him on our radar. BAELY was raised as part of a musical family with some of his biggest influences being legendary figures like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Donny Hathaway. In addition, the up-and-coming musician draws inspiration coming from the likes of D'Angelo, Miguel and The Internet. Solid af.
