I've been obsessed with Avara's craft for a year now and she doesn't disappoint with each new track she drops.
The new single from the LA-based singer & producer is called "goodthing" and is part of her series of collaborations - this time in the company of producer & singer Alé Araya.
What's unique about Avara is she creates dream-like worlds and she's not afraid to experiment with the song compositions. "goodthing" is once again very cinematic, split into different sections, much like a movie, and with a long intro/outro - transcending the r&b genre into a new realm.
Next from Avara, we expect an Indian-inspired r&b EP, paying tribute to her heritage. Imagine blending all of the above with those motifs - needless to say, I'm excited.
