While we don't feature vaporwave very often, I do appreciate the synth-driven sound of the genre and today's feature is a perfect example of how epic the genre could sound like.
"Polywave" is a single from Auragraph's debut LP Memory Tracer (out via Dutch label Hiraeth Records). The track features blissed out synth pads, a dark and driving SH101 bass sequence, and analog drum structure. Get ready for a world of retro-infused dark and minimal wave.
Carlos Ramirez - the person behind Auragraph, has showcased his work as a score mix engineer and assistant composer on National Geographic's Valley of the Boom and Netflix's Stranger Things. And yeah, just like you now I feel like re-watching the whole series, just because of the soundtrack.
Honestly, "Polywave" is one of the most mesmerizing tracks I've heard in a while.
