AUGUST is a voice to be reckoned with.
AUGUST, who is also the Creative Director / Founder of Bristol-based vocal collective ,Bass Choir, shares her electrifying new single "Careless" and is about to blow your mind. Drawing inspirations from alt r&b, synth pop and industrial (at least for me), the track feels as if Nine Inch Nails, Moderat and Portishead and had a lovechild in the late 90s.
The track is part of her latest 4-track EP 430 BC. The name, taken from Greek mythology, representing a time period in which the first visual sightings of a labyrinth were discovered. AUGUST’s thought provoking EP emphasises the hidden meanings nested in our language - "a labyrinth of feelings".
