ATU or atu, I’m not sure what is the actual stage name the guy uses is a 20-year old student of University of Michigan. Doesn't sound outstanding yet, but after having listened to a bunch of his songs I have been cursing myself for not finding this guy earlier. There is plenty of chillwave/electro/soul/r&b whatever you want to call it musicians out there. But ATU is just pure love.
There is not a whole lot of information about him except that he is studying economics, loves music and does great music. That sounds about right. “Can Do It” has a very gentle bass line, indistinctive vocals (and even though you have no clue what the person is saying it sounds magical), piano intro that sets you in a very intimate mood. Atu has just dropped a new album, so give it a try.
