Stoked to kick off this weekend with this wholesome release by Brooklyn-based record label Bastard Jazz. Why wholesome? Because AstroLogical's "Bottom Of My Heart" feels like the perfect balance between slow-groove instrumental hip hop and laid back r&b vibes.

AstroLogical is the alias of Vancouver-based Nate Drobner who also happens to be 1/2 of the notorious duo Potatohead People. Nate had been releasing music as AstroLogical before the duo came to life back in early 2010s, so I guess with this project he's going back to his roots.

As I said in the first paragraph, what I loved about the track is this great balance between me grooving on my couch while sipping my first coffee and the warmth exhaling out of every single chord. I think I am in love.
