Lissom is a collaborative work between French pianist, composer and producer Julien Marchal and the English singer, songwriter and producer Ed Tullett aka Lowswimmer (also singer and co-songwriter of the band Novo Amor)
Originally written remotely in their respective homes for piano and voice, it was transformed by ambient instrumentation and strings, and became less an album, more a melting-pot of beautiful songs, dark poetic lyrics and instrumental flourishes. A record fit for a quiet, lightless room.
Lissom's debut album was released in 2018 and was an immediate success on streaming platforms. Spotted by Billie Eilish in an interview for VICE and placed in several series on Netflix, Amazon or on the American network CW, the album still accumulates several million streams per year and continues to build a large international audience.
