Joey Golden (fka J.ManifestO), is a rap recording artist residing from the Long Island City section of Queens,NY. He got his start recording and performing with Operation Industry Shut Down (O.I.S.D.). The group was made up of a collection of friends that attended the same high school he did. From 2008 - 2011, they performed at various venues in New York City and dropped an LP & EP ('09 & '11) respectively.
In 2012, the members went separate ways in pursuit of their career and personal aspirations in and outside of music. Joey would go on to release his then self titled "J.ManifestO" mixtape. It was featured on rap blogs 2Dopeboyz, Okayplayer and the now defunct Kevin Nottingham. In 2013, he would follow up with the LP Vicariously Through Memories. The project was preceded by lead single, "Live Life & Love It" and the follow up "Dreams". 2014, sparked two collaborations by way of EP. The first, Void.Spirit.Sound, with New York visual artist RA and Maryland producer Qman1. The second, "The Operation". A one day release with O.I.S.D. groupmate JohnNY U. and Florida producer Ross Munroe. It would be re-released in 2015. 2016 marked the year Joey would have his biggest single to date. "So Live" featuring O.I.S.D. groupmate J.Monop and vocalist Cindy Rose currently sits at 10k+ views on the video premiered by The Cypher Effect. He would go on to release a second & third single ("Move" & "Set It Off") along with the ep featuring those songs (Live From the Infinite).
In 2017, Joey Golden, his gov't name, became the new moniker of the Queens rapper. In August, he premiered a weekly audio visual series in the form of 3 singles for his upcoming "Problematic" EP. Title track "Problematic", fan favorite "Bentley" and "Gold" lead up to the September 1st release.
