Godwin is the solo project of Boston-based producer/artist Danny Godwin. Godwin’s dreamy blend of atmospheric pop channels James Blake, LANY and Sufjan Stevens. His quiet and mysterious voice invoke sacred themes, nostalgia and introspection. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Danny got his start in the Rise/BMG signed band Valleyheart. Godwin has opened for acts such as Colouring (Interscope Records), Roo Panes, and Ashe. Godwin found success on his debut release, “Side”, which is accompanied by a breathtaking video released on his Vevo channel. Atwood Magazine praised it for “a rich soundscape that invokes the importance of emotion”. Prolific Australian producer Yoste subsequently delivered an official remix. Godwin approaches his art DIY and produces, mixes and masters his music himself.
