Amar Miller. Born Miller S. Karns on May 28th, 2002, Amar Miller is from Toledo, Ohio, and graduated from Oklahoma State University after receiving a B.S. in Aerospace Studies. Miller has been creating and publishing music since middle school, but only in recent years has his artistic maturity and sound begun to advance. Miller credits his signature freeform jazz sound to the Chicago music scene, having listened to artists like Saba, Mick Jenkins, Noname, and Smino. Miller has also taken note of the visual and cultural similarities between Chicago and his hometown of Toledo, which further inspire the themes in his music.
