we are GUILTY of our PLEASURES - Stereofox edition

For two years (minus a few days), the Stereofox crew has been delivering music according to the framework of genres we initially picked. We gonna keep doing this, but now on the Eve of our 2nd birthday we are making an exception to the rule. Each member shared her/his guilty pleasure or music that otherwise can't be found at the website.

So... here's what we came up with:

Ivo: Katy Perry – "Teenage Dream"

"Ever since I put a speaker in my bathroom, my weekend's first shower jam is Katy's classic. That and running around half naked singing "MY HEART STOPS WHEN YOU LOOK AT MEEEEEEEEE".

Now you know my secret...I gotta say despite Katy Perry being uber commercial, I've been her fan since I saw her in that P.O.D video more than 10 years ago. So empowering!"

Alethia: Metallica – "For Whom The Bell Tolls"

"Fuck it. No shame, even. I'm never breaking up with my love for Ride the Lightning album. It's true love forever."

Gery: Miguel - "NWA.HollywoodDreams.Coffee"

"Well I'm currently knee deep in hip hop and "r&b" mode, so there. And I'm definitely not proud of listening to that guy..."

Stefano: New Kids Feat. Paul Elstak – "Turbo"

"Somehow, someday, this song became my crew's drinking anthem. And we don't even speak Dutch!"

Mark: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - "Thrift Shop" Feat. Wanz

"What, what? What? What? Knowing all the words to this song absolutely makes me feel like a cold ass honky. Just don't tell anybody. Ever."

Alex: 2pac - "Still Ballin"

"Well it's 2pac. It does not get any gangsta than that? Or does it? On my hard  drive I have this song, Mobb Deep's The Infamous and that's pretty much all of my game. Peace, yo."

Laura: Destiny’s Child – "Bug a Boo"

"Ok, here it is, my guilty pleasure. I still listen to Destiny's Child on my iPod..."

Gabriel: Silverio – "Perro"

"Can't stop listening to this song. The most epic lyrics in history. Love Silverio's punk attitude!"

Anna: Taylor Swift – "Shake It Off"

"Haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate… This song makes me ridiculously happy, but let’s never talk about this ever again."

Colin: Carly Rae Jepsen – "Call Me Maybe"

"Crap lyrics, cheesy video and that damn catchy pop hook. I'm embarrassed to say I even played it at our New Years Eve party. This is so so bad."

Boris: Carpenter Brut - "Le Perv"

"Ivo took Katy, so I guess mine is Carpenter Brut - Le Perv. So hard to pick just one from all the 80's electro neo-trash I'm listening to, but the video of this one is classy."

Cameron: All Saints – "Pure Shores"

"I've just spent a good half hour trying to work out if this song is a guilty pleasure or just pure genius. I'm happy to go for both."
