Its no secret just how much I adore these guys, so it should come as no surprise that their latest offering "Be There", has been on repeat in my house/office/car for practically a week now.
The video accompanying the single has dropped today and just like everything else Seafret seem to spit out, its pure Gold. Visually, it's just as accomplished as those supporting "Oceans" & "Atlantis" but then again we've come to expect nothing less.
I had the pleasure of catching the guys live a couple of months ago (@ The Rocking Chair - Sheffield). A small, intimate venue, I went into the gig hopeful but came out dumbstruck. The boys have little swagger, in fact quite the opposite - shy and maybe even a tad awkward, you just can't help but fall in love with Harry's philosophical ramblings or Jack's nervous energy that just transforms into one of the best lead vocalists around . They're raw but polished just enough to make a sound that's so infectious, before you know it you're humming "Give Me Something" in your sleep, wearing your Seafret merch for PJ's.
I honestly can't wait to see what Seafret bring us next, one thing's for sure, i'll be at the front of the queue, quietly smirking.
