When most people hear the word ‘hip-hop’, they don’t think of Oddisee. Well, I do.
As I have mentioned before, to me Oddisee is not just a hip-hop artist and producer. He puts so much meaning into his music. There is genuine emotion and his messages are pretty strong.
Oddisee has just released his latest album The Iceberg (read album review) in February this year and it is dope! And the first official video from it is of “NNGE”, featuring the awesome Toine.
Now, since the beginning of March, Oddisee’s touring all over Europe (and after that - the U.S.) to spread the word – BENEAT THE SURFACE TOUR. And the best thing is he’s not alone. He’s coming with his band Good Compny (and who doesn’t need some good company).
I am extremely happy to be able to see them all in Sofia, Bulgaria on 7 April, courtesy of ReelFeel (who have brought to Bulgaria artists like Bonobo, Akua Naru, Wax Tailor, FINK and many more). The venue Sofia Live Club has a great sound system, so I can’t wait to experience the Oddisee magic!
