Berlin-based, New Zealand-born artist Noah Slee was one of the most pleasant discoveries this past summer. His tune "Rampant Wild Free" is a real soul / r&b delight, wrapped with a progressive electronic production and now we get to experience that delight again.
The kiwi genre-bender is closing 2016 with a beautifully shot short-story depicting Berlin's unique vibe.
The director of the video is another New Zealander residing in German capital Sam Templeton who shares few thoughts on the creative process behind the visuals:
Whilst it was our aim to keep the narrative simple, we couldn't overlook the depth of Noah's lyrics. The relationship between girl and boy spawned out of this desire, then developed further over the course of the night of the shoot. The final music video is very much an organic product of the music, the people, and the city in which it was filmed
