You won't find her on the "Sound of the 2015" lists but there is just enough to suggest we're in for something interesting with Nessi, a heavily tattooed but innocently (yet goth-ish) looking performer from Berlin. I first came across her when she was supporting Manic Street Preachers last year with half-acoustic set which was safe in terms of sound but still instantly likeable.
After a few bittersweet and melancholic singles, she's now releasing the radio-friendly synth-pop flavoured "Rolling With The Punches". It obviously aims for a bigger audience in comparison to her previous output and just in time - her full-length self-released debut by the same name will be released on January 23rd. "I'm on the ropes prepared to bite", she warns and this actually sounds honest.
