5th of April - not one of the brightest days for the grunge music. Today we mark the death of two legendary singers - Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley. People who along with few other left a huge mark on world music scene. I guess even if you were too young during the golden years of grunge music (like me), at some point you must have been (slightly) obsessed with some of the bands from the Seattle scene.
Grunge has never been my main genre, but for me is the kind of music that would never get old. Despite that some of the bands are no longer around, some of those albums in the beginning of the 90s are mind-blowing. Full of emotion, raw anger, sadness - it is the kind of music which moves people... just like this Alice In Chains track.
