Preview: You Need To Hear This - Noisey and Philips UK Freshers Tour

You may already be familiar with Philips. You may well be in the elite hipster circles that know about Noisey. And if you don't know what a freshers party is, then you probably shouldn't be at one. Stereofox has been invited along to cover the Brighton leg of the You Need To Hear This event happening on the 27th of September at the Green Door Store.

You Need To Hear This, is an amazing freshers tour that will be hitting some of the UK's biggest and best cities at the end of September. This comes courtesy of the uber- collaboration between Vice magazine's music arm Noisey, and Philips the electronics and music hardware powerhouse.

Let's forget about the Free Entry, Free Drinks and Free motherfuckin' Goodie Bag for the first 100 Uni fresher in the immediate vicinity, and turn our attention to the 3 incredible bands and DJ's that will be playing at each event. Headlining the shows will be the incredible Superfood, well known for their intense live shows, supported by The Wytches and ambient duo Maxixe. The live music will continue into the early hours with DJ sets from Bloodshake as well as some hand selected bad-ass DJ's from You Need To Hear This.
