We Were Evergreen are one of those bands that I just always sort of expect to be on point with their tracks. Thankfully, the trio's new track "Daughters" is pretty much one of the best they've ever released.

Time to get your Greek mythology caps on for the explanation behind the song and the video. Apparently, "Daughters" plays off the idea of the Daughters of Danaus, who were doomed to continually carry containers of water filled with holes. It represents the futility of a meaningless task which is reflected in the repetition of the video (which was directed by Dominique Rocher and was all done in a single take, pretty impressive!) The song mirrors this theme with looping melodies and syncopated rhythms.

Now then, "Daughters" isn't actually released until March 3rd, but they've unveiled this video so you can check it out while you check it out. (We heard you like videos dawg).
