SHIMA
SHIMA's sonic and visual aesthetic paired with her relentless social media presence surely puts her on a course leading to success and notoriety. Her releases last year on TOKiMONSTA's Young Art Records showcased a splendid mixture of electronica, bass-influenced music, and traditional Japanese sounds. We're transported to the bustling streets of Tokyo and into the serenity of its nature thanks to how SHIMA crafts her tracks - they're dynamic, immersive, and musically opulent.
Stay up to date.

Kotiēr
With support from Rüfüs Du Sol, CamelPhat, and Adriatique, along with a series of standout releases in 2024, Kotier has captured significant attention with his euphoric and high-energy approach to electronica. The New York native first landed on our radar back in 2021 with the track "Underflow", however in 2023 his style went through a slight evolution, and things took a turn for the better.
He seamlessly borrows from primarily melodic house, melodic techno, and Afro-house to craft a sound that's perfect for those emotive and unifying moments on the dancefloor. Kotier is only 23 years old and not only possesses a sound that's quite distinctive in the electronic realm but also demonstrates a maturity in production that sets him apart as a rising talent to watch.

Anish Kumar
I initially discovered Anish's work through his collaboration with Barry Can't Swim on "s". Since then, the UK-based producer has turned heads with his fascinating fusion of antiquated Indian music with high-energy genres such as house and disco.
His 2022 Bollywood Super Hits! EP even received co-signs from icons like Bonobo and Four Tet. However, his recent work, a 3-track EP titled Hymns of a Flowergirl, looks past this scope as he invites more influences into his aesthetic. He showcases his prowess as a producer, and samples from a range of sources, and welcomes unlikely collaborators to eventually create a unique sonic tapestry that pushes boundaries and defies genre expectations. This year he'll be going on a long release streak where he'll be dropping a string of singles primarily made for the club - in fact, he has debuted some of them in his BBC Essential Mix.

Noé Solange
In 2024, Noé Solange captivated listeners with her Rise EP, drawing us into a dreamy realm filled with lush atmospheres and natural, organic textures. Throughout the project, the London-based artist flaunts her talents as an electronic producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer. Her sound occupies a fascinating space between forward-thinking and accessible by virtue of its healing, tranquil nature. This has captured the attention of platforms like BBC Radio 6, Mixmag, Headliner Mag, and Notion Mag. Furthermore, the iconic Henry Green co-signed and remixed the lead single "Rise" toward the beginning of October.
The two have been working on a lot of new music since then and are planning to release a few singles in 2025. Part of her plan this year is also to further develop her co-founded project "Family of East" - a community and database dedicated to Asian artists, producers, DJs, and presenters, aimed at amplifying their creativity in the West.

Tonic Walter
Tonic Walter jumped onto the scene back in 2019 with a VERY different sound than what they're currently making waves with. In 2022, the German duo (Maximilian Nestmann and Marcel Vckov) shifted a lot more into the world of melodic house, and that rewarded them greatly, especially with the release of "Stay There". Using analog synthesizers and live instruments, Tonic Walter creates a blend of melodic house, deep house, and techno while retaining the organic feeling of a live band.
In 2024, they were relentless with their release schedule. Not only did they put out multiple releases that regularly received editorial support, but the pair also toured extensively across Europe. They've reached quite a stellar balance between euphoric and dance-friendly with their music. This will spill over into an album in 2025 and another tour, although on a bigger scale.

Sensu
Switzerland-based Sensu stands out for drawing inspiration from UKG and other UK bass genres to create her own spellbinding sound. In 2024, she revealed her boldest work on Pieces EP and introduced audiences to fascinating sound design, intricate drum arrangements, and soulful moments too through the presence of charming vocals. Pieces EP explores the Swiss producer's ability to evoke deep emotion within electronic productions shaped for the dancefloor.
In 2025, she has plans to release a brand-new EP and is likely to add more performances to her schedule. If you would like to know more about this rising star, we actually had an interview with her towards the second of 2024 which you can check out here.

Rosbeh
Back in 2021, one of my biggest sonic obsessions was the airy and gentle Rosbeh track "Oceans" featuring Paulii. Since then, I’ve kept up with nearly every release from the talented Hamburg-based artist, and 2024 became the year he fully displayed his musical versatility with the release of his debut album, Fortunate Day. Rosbeh is an Iranian-German producer and an award-winning classically trained pianist who brings top-tier musical opulence into the realm of electronica.
Even though he has been releasing singles and EPs since 2017, his latest body of work exhibits his ability to craft a dynamic listening experience floridly decorated with an array of instruments and moments. His style varies between classic and techno, ambient and breakbeats with his Persian heritage found throughout. In 2025 he'll be veering towards new territory sonically and building upon the momentum of 2024 with more international tours.

Kloyd
Kloyd's 2023 EP Chapters quickly became a standout for the Stereofox team upon its release. Building on that success, she carried her remarkable momentum into 2024 with the release of Høurglass and its accompanying remix project. Her sound is a collage tethered together by the influence of trip hop, downtempo, and UK garage, and usually, this is paired with a rich organic tapestry. It's quite a distinctive sound she possesses and her brand of "melantronic" really reminds us of nostalgic Ninja Tune releases.
We can expect plenty of music from the London-based artist in 2025, and a new mixtape to solidify her impressive run.

nimino
2024 has been a transformative year for Australian artist nimino. While he's been consistently releasing music since 2018, it was last year that he truly had his breakthrough thanks to the electrifying track "I Only Smoke When I Drink" via Counter Records. His continued patience and hard work culminated in international festival slots, millions of streams, and even a remix from the one and only Claptone.
His signature lies in the chords, radiant synths, and unexpected arrangements that give his music its distinct identity. His upcoming January release "Shaking Things Up" perfectly captures this essence. This will be followed up with a full EP dropping in March.

Loverground
One of the acts that bring a colorful and vibrant sound to the realm of lofi and deep house is UK-based artist Loverground. We first discovered his work back in 2021, and three years on, it's clear that his sound has evolved tastefully, particularly when it comes to his musicality. This is apparent on his 2024 album A Long Time to Build, A Moment to Vanish - an album where we're acquainted with a sophisticated yet raw kind of chill house.
At the moment he is gearing up to release yet another album at the beginning of the year, and fine-tuning his sets to include a lot more live elements.

Archie Holmes
Archie Holmes has been on our radar as a rising star ever since the release of "Allahina" nearly two years ago, and in 2024, he's finally stepping into a well-deserved brighter spotlight. Not only has his music reached the millions territory, but "Better" from his Off-Center EP also landed on Spotify's Best of Fresh Finds 2024. Archie has crafted a luminous yet moody brand of dance music that's rich in melody and soulful charm thanks to the tasteful selection of emotive vocals.
Looking ahead to 2025, Archie returns with his Balance EP, with the lead single "Ultraviolet" released on Jan 10th. With headline slots at Corsica Studios and a co-headline with Dan Shake already locked in 2025 is set to be Archie’s biggest year yet.

Douvelle19
The year 2024 marks a period where Douvelle19 honed in on his distinct style of UKG-inspired dance music. It's raw, bright, and in your face, however, his brazen production is often balanced by the soulful touch of his vocal collaborators. His When I Dream EP captures a summery aesthetic when it comes to sound selection, while his grooves showcase the vibrancy of his rhythm section. The Greek-Welsh artist started harboring attention back in 2018 with a soulful, house sound brimming with warmth. Ever since his shift into the space of UKG and breakbeat, he has continued to captivate listeners with innovative approach and a dynamic energy.

Ourson
I think I featured nearly every Ourson release from 2024 - that’s how remarkable his release streak was last year! The warmth, lush textures, and cinematic flair found in his music deliver a comforting brand of deep and melodic house that's brimming with emotion. Toward the end of the year, the French producer released his much-anticipated Times I've Missed EP, and it precisely exhibits why he is an act to keep an eye on this year.
In 2025, we can expect more shows from the French producer as he is working on bringing his music to life live.

Me & George
One of my favorite releases from last year was a track titled "We So Good", a club-ready gem by Me & George loaded with sincere emotion. The UK-based DJ and producer had 10 releases this year that dynamically showcased his craft's vibrant and intimate side, catering both to the dance floor and more personal listening experiences. Some of his highlights for 2024 include a Fakear remix, appearing on Rinse FM, and more high-profile shows.
He recently launched Wurk It, a series of events tied to his residency at Club Le Sacré. The concept revolves around pairing each event with the release of a track co-produced with the guest DJ or producer featured that night, and this will continue well into 2025.

Nikita, the Wicked
Nikita is one of the craziest, most creative people I've seen on the Internet in 2024. His music is full of surprise drops and impossible-to-think genre switches and he's giving off a very fresh vibe, online at least.
I found "The Auction" early in 2024 and it instantly took a centerpiece in a set I did in the spring. The energy that's oozing off his future bass roots, blended with UKG and soulful r&b elements is impeccable. Since then, a year ago, the producer has been featured on a number of editorial supports including Spotify's creamy, Amazon Music's Electronic Feels, and started working with San Holo's bitbird label imprint. His sound is chaos, in the most beautiful way possible.
If you're in the States in the spring, you can catch Nikita live playing along Zeds Dead.

Natascha Polké
Natascha Polké's vocals are simply a gateway into tranquility. They offer a dreamy and introspective feel while her production feels driving and uplifting. This contrast gives her a unique sonic identity and simultaneously gives listeners the choice to either lose themselves on the dance floor or find comfort and solace in her music. Her stunning 2024 EP Into You, along with my favorite release from her "Alelele" perfectly captures this sentiment.

Human Movement
Thanks to his stellar remix of Pretty Girl's "Sun Phase", Lebanese-Australian producer Human Movement landed on my radar and it's been beautiful watching him blossom. It's clear from his sound that he is a lover of hard-edged UK Garage, 90’s house, and old-school rave since his sound predominantly pulls from these territories. In 2024 he unveiled a polished and pristine aesthetic with his Subtle EP, a project that not only showcases a sentimental side but also his Middle Eastern heritage through storytelling. On the live front, he also made quite an impact on his Australia and Asia Summer Tour and this momentum looks like it'll continue in 2025 too.

The duo me n ü literally has the full package that'll launch them to superstardom - the energy, the stellar music, the look, the consistent connection with fans through social media, and their work ethic. They dropped into the scene and began releasing music in 2024, and in the space of one year, they've amassed a loyal following with their airy and emotionally fueled style of electronica. Tracks like "WONDER" and "JUMP" allow us to dive into a calm state, while "IT MIGHT BE THE DRUGS" is a certified dance floor banger.

JUNIOR SIMBA
Growing up in Zimbabwe and later on being exposed to UK’s vibrant house / garage scene, makes Junior Simba’s art a unique blend of cultures, genres, and emotions. A centerpiece in Junior’s music is the appreciation for his musical ancestry, channeled through the prism of modern influences.
In the 5 years since he started releasing music, Junior’s catalog has flourished into a palette of awe-inspiring compositions that incorporate elements from sangria and African kwaito. A lush example of electronic dance-favourited futurism which earned him performances alongside legends like Fatboy Slim, Hot Since 82 and support by BBC’s Pete Tong and JAGUAR.
Junior Simba earned a few notable editorial playlist covers and was chosen for Beatport’s Next Class of 2023. With a number of live performances and DJ sets in 2024, we’re in for a ride in 2025.

Stresshead
Stresshead is the moniker of London-based producer Oliver Green. His dynamic, yet inviting music is an emotional cocktail of alt-pop hooks with groovy elements of uk garage, bass, and experimental electronic music. What’s cool about his music is that it’s an endless stream of surprises and one would never know what to expect.
Oil returned from a busy US trip where he made music with a number of producers and artists, so we all expect a huge year from the talented producer.
