It has been almost 2 years since we last featured Ark Patrol. To be honest, I was predominantly familiar with his remixes, but it's so refreshing and nice to experience his original work. "Your Eyes (And Other Safe Havens)" is Brandon latest release and it feels like as if Tycho were to make indie music. The whole landscape portrayed within those 2 minutes and 59 seconds feels somehow mellow, but in the same time the track is very far from being... "slow" if that makes sense. What surprised me the most (pleasantly) were the vocals towards the end of the composition. A seriously spot-on touch and detail.

The sounds from ‘Your Eyes’ originated as a bastion of peace amidst the heavier synth distorted music I’d been writing during 2017. I like making songs that swim against the current and that was my intention with this song.
It was originally supposed to be a simple interlude but something within it stayed with me and over time resonated in such a way that I decided to develop it further, morphing it into a guitar driven track which seemed the logical conclusion coming from such a tranquil beginning.
