"Unanswered" is not only one hell of a compelling listening experience, it also represents the union of two different generations of dance music as Amtrac is joined by the iconic duo The Juan Maclean for this one.
Two things that shine through the mix seamlessly are the bulky presence of the bass and the recurring lead synth - and it's this lead synth that cloaks the mood of the track with an enigmatic veneer. As the track progresses however it somewhat leans towards a more dance-friendly domain whilst simultaneously inducing a feeling of immersion thanks to the hazily bright synth tones that slip into the mix and the atmospheric pads hanging over the backdrop.
