Sometimes you just have to sit back and think, "yep, we missed that band". Listening to Nottingham boys Amber Run, we should have been championing them for the start. Still, I guess now is as good a time as any to get involved and show them some love.
We could literally have picked any one of their songs to feature, as they're basically all awesome. Eventually I decided on 'Heaven' as it's the quintet's latest track and it's a ball of pop infused brilliance. Listening to the instrumentation I'm immediately reminded of The Postal Service whereas vocally it's more in the ballpark of bands like Kodaline. The guys will also be appearing at Eurosonic Noorderslag 2014, so here's hoping we can catch up with them there!
