I think there's no need to dig much into how I view Alt-J and their music so far. The features of An Awesome Wave and This Is All Yours pretty much sum everything I wanted to share with you, but this morning I stumbled upon this little thing:

"A self that goes on changing is a self that goes on living"

... and it somehow made me think of the continuation of "Bloodflood". The record has been growing on me ever since it came out and is probably one of my personal highlights for 2014 with pt. II holding the current "favorite" spot. The second half of the song and those few elements where the vocals go on for about 10 seconds without taking a breath is just like... fuck, seriously it gives me the ultimate goosebumps and I wish I could put into words my thoughts, but at the end the music is what's actually important.
