When we did our Two Feet interview back in April, he shared some info about his plans on releasing his 2nd EP (released via Majestic Casual Records). I already kinda knew Momentum would be different and I wasn't very far from the truth.
First Steps was probably one of the best debut EPs released in a long time, but I am glad Two Feet didn't stop there. The best thing about having a momentum (no pun intended) is the fact that if you manage to keep it long enough, you'll achieve greatness. Proof for this is those amazing 4 tracks bellow. Songs which tell a more coherent story than the previous EP.
I've been listening to Momentum for the past few weeks and the first thing I noticed is how effortless the flow between the songs is. At times I forgot I'm listening to an album and by the time the music stopped (which felt really quick), I felt... puzzled about what's going on.
When it comes to the tracks, I've got 2 definite winners so far - "Your Mother Was Cheaper" and "Had Some Drinks". Their sort of dirty, guitar-driven feel is exactly why I fell in love with Two Feet's music. That being said, if you look at the album as a story/novel, the other 2 songs "Love Is A Bitch" and "Twisted" play crucial role in telling the whole story. If I ever find myself heart-broken in the future, I bet those tracks and a few drinks will be right besides me.
I hope you guys enjoy the Momentum EP as much as I do. It's a damn good reason to be excited about what's ahead for Two Feet. The guy is working hard as hell and I know this will be just the beginning of a great 2017.
