Back in July ((( O ))) AKA June Marieezy graced with the first taste of her upcoming album ((( 2 ))) and life was pure joy for a whole weekend.
The sundrop release titled "iFeel" was featuring her long-time collaborator and now husband FKJ. I don’t resonate with my [given] name. I’m super energy-based, so the best representation of who I am is without words.
The album consists of 12 tracks and if you're a diversity, then you'll be in fora treat. From trap-driven silky beats like "Bayou" to a rather pop and playful "IDGAW" all the way to what living underwater would sound like ("Faded"), her work is easily one of the most well-put, yet sundry collection of sounds I've stumbled upon in a while.
Moving down the experience, there's another track that stood out to me as it evoked a strong .Paak and Kid Cudi vibe in my mind. Those tracks were "Homie" and "Pocahontas" featuring Darius. I was pleasantly surprise to hear how smooth her flow is.
