Australian artist Akurei describes himself as “a purveyor of high quality lo-fi introspective music” and one listen to “SEROTONIN” is enough to catch the ruminative nature of his music. The track came out as part of 3-track EP and the launch of a record label called sumoclic which he co-owns with his good friend Golden Vessel.
“SEROTONIN” as well as the entire EP exudes romance and sweetness intertwined with just the right amount of melancholy. Akurei’s poetic vocals are the essence of the song with rhythmic guitar and drum instrumentals following along.
