Sometimes bad news hits you hard. I recently learned that a close friend was in the hospital, and it was pretty scary. He's going to be okay, thankfully, but it was unexpected. So when I got home today and found that the new tape I had ordered from Ahwlee had arrived, I honestly wasn't too eager to listen at first. But I popped the tape in, and this is the first song that came on.
"Stillashy [91]" is a short, upbeat track, that I found I couldn't not smile and head-nod to. Music is a powerful thing. We all know this. That's why we're here, looking for another song to indulge our desire to feel. I don't mean to proselytize or even come off as flippant, but it was a simple yet profound moment that I wanted to share. I hope you enjoy.
