On "Fathom", L.A.-based Krikl exhibits her abilities as an architect of anticipation. The manner in which the track progresses genuinely feels like an emotional journey littered with suspense.
Yes there are colossal strings and luke-warm pads which have such a magnetic presence on here, although I was thoroughly moved by the intricate placement of the textures and subtle synthesizers on here. Fathom wouldn't only make a great OST, but also makes for a great experience to lose yourself.
If you're into the works of Tony Anderson, you'll love this.
