This is more than just another #postrocksunday. For 2 reasons. Firstly, I think 65daysofstatic are the perfect example where electronic and post-rock music collide into something, which I myself have hard time labelling. Not that is necessary or anything. I've been severely leaning towards electronic music lately and the release of their new album Wild Light couldn't happen at a better time.
Secondly, besides the song which I really do hope enjoy, I was very impressed of the open-mindedness and honesty in the statement they released on their website. You can see part of it in the image below. I do believe that such behaviour create an unique connection between the artist and their fans. Something, which is the future of music industry. The real music industry, not the fake instagram photos and attention craving "stars".
