"Playhouse" will surely get your head nodding with its boom-bap rhythm, solid flow and soulful vocals. They share about the process:
"Playhouse" came together, gradually, over the course of about a year while we were studying audio engineering together at a college in Rockville, MD. It started with just the beat, which took about 3-4 months to perfect, before any collaboration began. Once the majority of the beat had come together, both Artt and Siah recorded an initial verse on their own and eventually came together to re-record it all at once in the same studio. The finished vocals you hear on "Playhouse" were recorded and engineered by fellow student, Dakota Garcia. After the vocals were redone, it was only a matter of another month or two before the finished product came together and it was ready for the people to hear.
